Every year ministers, pastors, priests and the like spend time working on a talk for Easter Sunday, which seems like it wouldn’t be a big deal, right? I mean the story is already written, what’s to think about? Well for me, there is plenty to think about. Throughout my life Easter has evolved from the “events” of 2,000 years ago to something very different today. It has journeyed far from the idea of a bodily resuscitation solely focused on Jesus, and has become a never-ending story of transformation. BIO Rev. Kelly Isola is an innovation alchemist, and passionate about supporting people and organizations to live and love more authentically by sharing her passion for living the two-fold path of an engaged spiritual life – embracing the inner path of wisdom, as well as demonstrating the outer path of compassionate service. For more than two decades she has been a global leader for interfaith and inter-spiritual work, knowing it is a pathway for individual and collective healing and peace. She is Chair Emerita for Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council and Founder of Humans of Interfaith in the Heartland. She is the co-founder of project_SANCTUS (projectsanctus.com) a safe, brave, online space to discover and be our Holiest self, and together, create a world of equanimity, love and justice for all. She hosts a new radio show on Unity Online Radio, “With Love and Justice for All” with Rev. Ogun Holder, focusing on embodied antiracism. To find out more visit kellyisola.com.
