Today’s meditation and self-inquiry are an invitation to pause and listen deeply—to ourselves, to the parts of us that have longed to be nurtured, and to the quiet wisdom we carry within. Mother’s Day can stir many emotions: love, loss, gratitude, grief, longing, or even ambivalence. Rather than rush past those feelings, we’re going to honor them. We’ll begin with a guided meditation to connect with the archetype of the mother—whether that’s someone we knew, someone we needed, or someone we are becoming. Afterward, I’ll offer some gentle self-inquiry prompts to help you reflect on what it means to receive love, to offer love, and to mother ourselves and one another in a world that’s still learning how.
