Talk Title
Navigating Transitions: Orienting Toward What Is Needed Now
Talk Description
Transitions, whether chosen or unexpected, often leave us standing on unfamiliar ground, unsure which way to turn. In this talk, Lee Ann Franklin explores the Terrain of Transition: the inner landscapes we move through when something ends and what is emerging is not yet clear. She introduces the Compass of Transition, which names four possible directions. Rather than forcing clarity, the work of transition becomes learning how to orient toward what is needed now. Through a guided CAIRN meditation, participants experience a practical way to slow down, orient inwardly, and discern what is needed in the moment. The talk offers normalization, grounding, and gentle guidance for navigating change with wisdom, trust, and grace.
