On this third Sunday of Advent, our word is Love. Sometimes love is about changing our perspective, and sometimes love is about changing our actions. No matter what we are called to do, we are asked to sing the song of love that plays in our hearts, not our heads. Rev Indira Grace Huerta is a New Thought minister, spiritual advisor and educator, Reiki healer, Master and teacher, Shamanic practitioner, Truth student, massage therapist, yoga instructor, and budding metaphysical mystic. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Emporia State University in 1994, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University in 2000 and was ordained from the Institute of Leadership and Lifelong Learning International in 2021. She became a Certified Massage Therapist and Shamanic Practitioner with the Midwest Institute of Natural Healing in 2004 and 2005, respectively, a Reiki Master in 2010, a Certified Meditation Instructor with the Rime Buddhist Center in 2012, and a Certified 200 RYT in Yoga from Darling Yoga in 2016. Indira is passionate about elevating the consciousness of the world in all areas, but especially regarding the treatment of marginalized and traumatized communities. She helps guide people through their own personal empowerment, working specifically with and for people affected by incarceration, violence, and house and food insecurity. She also works with all individuals who ask her to assist them in elevating their energy and awareness into a natural state of vitality, integrity, power, balance, and peace.
