Honoring World Religion Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday in January every year, a Universal Worship Service will be shared through readings from the world’s sacred scriptures on the theme of Divine Light. Both World Religion Day and the Universal Worship Service serve as a reminder of the need for harmony and understanding between religions and faith systems Professor & Pir Emerita, Murshida Stephanie Nuria Sabato is an educator, designer, world traveler, seeker, student of the world, and most importantly, servant of God. Stephanie received initiations and training from several Sufi schools. She is the former head of the International Sufi Movement headquartered in The Hague, Netherland. Stephanie resigned this position in 2018 to found the Sufi Message of Love, Harmony, and Beauty. She has also been recognized by H.H. Dalai Lama, Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Shaykh Nazim of Turkish Cypress, and His Eminence Khamtrul Rinpoche. Stephanie is married and lives in Hollywood, Florida with her husband, Joe, and their black lab, Parker.
